The actress said that those in the audience will cry and that there will be many tears. Ilire Vinca before the play "Father and Son", which was performed on Wednesday at the Montenegrin National Theatre (CNP) in Podgorica.

What she would like the audience to do is to ask themselves and remember how important every person in this world is, "regardless of who we are and who they are - just human beings - and how important it is to live in a world where we know that we are valued and that every human being in this world is valued."

"That's why we have to fight for it," the actress said.

He believes that there is no greater harm to people around the world than the discovery that human beings are not valued as human beings, and that this is the most painful thing that is also associated with the play "Father and Father".

Vinca speaks to "Vijesti" about the play, theater, its role, and the obstacles it encounters.

In this play, she plays the mother of a daughter and the wife of a missing person in war. She emphasizes that there is a very fine line between her as a professional and an ordinary person.

"Because as human beings we experience these stories, they are still ongoing. As human beings we are still afraid to turn on the TV or the news, because we can see dramatic things happening all around us. As human beings we witness many missing people around the world, wars and injustices, so this becomes a very big topic and in a way it adds to your profession, because as a human being you become a professional who in a way sets a light that leads you into another tunnel of this life or profession that we are trying to do as actors," she said, explaining that in this way "both sides" come together, which refers to life and the stage.

He says that the boundary is very thin at the beginning, but he thinks that in the end there is no boundary at all.

"Art is like that, you know, we as human beings live through our stories, as professionals we tell a story to the whole world, so my job is to bring people's lives and experiences to the stage and make them as believable as possible," said Vinca.

He points out that perhaps theater cannot perform miracles, because if it did, "everything would have ended much earlier, centuries ago," but adds that it is a continuing duty.

“As long as injustice is present all around us, this is another safe space where we can tell our truth which is the human truth, without titles, whether it is happening here, in Palestine, Albania, Serbia, Montenegro, or anywhere else. Theatre is a safe space, because it removes all those other titles, backgrounds and everything else, and tries to be and remain consistent with human dignity, human rights, human truth and life. So, yes, it is a safe space, and it can be safer when we are very well positioned as artists,” she said.

He says that art is a very specific and very powerful tool for changing the world.

“Even if you change just ten lives in the audience, the way they think, even if you just destroy some prejudice, or even if you manage to feel and empathize with a person, forgetting whether this is an Albanian actress or something else, you simply touch the heart and soul of people… that, I think, is what you can do,” said Vinca.

There are many obstacles to making art, not just the relationship between a person and art, the actress says, but also the fact that we are social beings and that the system and what surrounds us sometimes limit us. She also points out that there are many misconceptions about what is true.

Vinca agrees with the director Kuštrim Kolići regarding the social role of theater. She says that Kolić works in a “very, very good way”, she likes what he does, his thoughts, she thinks he is very active and clear.

“But I also have to be open to every form of theater, aesthetics, truth, activism… all of that is very complex,” she said.

She pointed out that the above cannot be separated within a play, but that it can all be had.

"Actually, when you have a clear thought, a clear goal, what you want to touch, how and when you can combine all the elements of your craft as an actor - then that is the most valuable thing for me through the stage and through art," said the actress.
