Piano concert Aleksandra Yakovljeva will be held today at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts at 20 p.m.
This is the third concert from the cycle "Beethoven's symphonies on the piano”, and tonight's program in the CANU hall includes the 3rd Symphony “Eroica”.

The Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts adds that the project of presenting Beethoven's complete symphonic opus on the piano is "rare in the world, and it is being organized here for the first time." The program is being implemented from February to June, they remind.
His successful career includes more than 50 awards at national and international competitions, including prestigious ones in Cincinnati, Geneva, Takamatsu and Madrid. He also won the Chopin Competition in Rome in 2006, winning a concert piano, a gift from the Pope. Benedict XVI, and is also the recipient of an award for contribution to Italian culture, awarded by the President of Italy.
As a soloist, he has collaborated with numerous orchestras around the world, and has performed in prestigious halls.
Critics once called him "the most promising musician of his generation" for Chopin Magazine in Japan, as well as "an artist who possesses his own style, based on a deep dive into the composer's concept," as reported by the Spanish newspaper "El Pais".
Since 2022, he has lived in Montenegro, where he has organized several recitals and launched the International Music Festival in the Portonovi tourist complex, in Herceg Novi, and is also the artistic director of Illyrian Fest.
