Exhibition "Revived Writings" by a renowned artist Mirsad Begić was opened last night in the Gallery of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro. The opening was attended by the curators of the exhibition Milena Durutović, artist Mirsad Begić, while officially opening the exhibition Borut Valencic, Minister Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Montenegro. Curator Durutović emphasized that the exhibition represents an important contribution not only to the affirmation of Begić's creativity, but also to the strategic positioning of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro as an institution that reflects on contemporary art in its conceptual, material and social aspects. "We believe that this exhibition will encourage new readings of the relationship between image and thought, between space and view, between presence and meaning. In a time of excessive production of visual information, the art of Mirsad Begić acts as a necessary corrective, not as an opposition to modernity, but as its intellectual counterpoint," said Durutović.
Begić donated his work to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro
This event is also given special significance by the fact that the artist donated a major work from the exhibited opus to the Museum - the work "Guarding the Dream", which is located at the very entrance to the gallery space. Durutović expressed her gratitude and emphasized that the work will be carefully preserved in the MSUCG collection.

The artist himself, Mirsad Begić, addressed the audience, emphasizing that tonight he would let his works speak for him. With a touch of modesty and gratitude, he said that it was an extraordinary honor for him to have the opportunity to present his works to the audience in Montenegro, a country with which he has long-standing professional and friendly ties. He expressed special gratitude to the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro and the partner Gallery Novak from Ljubljana, who made this exhibition possible. Borut Valenčič, Minister Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, in his address emphasized the importance of such cultural initiatives that not only contribute to the promotion of art and artists, but also strengthen interstate relations.

As he pointed out, the presence and support of representatives of the diplomatic corps are a clear indication that the work of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montenegro is recognized as valuable and relevant in the international framework. Such joint projects, according to him, further strengthen cultural ties between Montenegro and Slovenia, building bridges of cooperation and understanding through art. The exhibition Revived Records was realized in cooperation with the Novak Gallery from Ljubljana, and will be open to the public until June 15
