Miljan Nikolić graduated from the Department of Serbian Language and South Slavic Literature in Nikšić. He has published two books of poems, "Introduction to Itaku" and "Leptirov pir", and his poems are represented in four poetry collections. He received the "Vidovdanska povelja" literary award from the Writers' Association of Montenegro (2022) for his critical and essayistic valorization of contemporary Serbian literature in Montenegro. He is the editor of the poetry section in the magazine "Stvaranje" (the magazine of the Writers' Association of Montenegro) and is a journalist for Radio Montenegro 1 (the show "Cultural Panorama").
