The play "Vilinjska gora" which, according to the text, Sandra Vujović directed Zoran Rakocevic, will be performed today in Kotor, on the big stage of the Cultural Center "Nikola Đurković" at 20 pm.
The play is intended for ages six and up, and the authors also recommend it for adults. It is a dramatic text that won the ASSITEJ Montenegro Children's and Youth Theatre Association award as the best in 2021.
The play features: Ognjen Sekulic, Mirjana Spaic, Pavle Novakovic i Angela Rondovic.
“The text 'Vilinjska Gora: The Myth of Masters, Servants and Free People' was written in 2009 and, primarily, examines three concepts that are most important to every human being - freedom, love and self-knowledge. Although it uses elements of what could be defined as the domain of children's and youth theater, the themes that the play deals with are very close to the adult audience, because a person faces them throughout his or her life. 'Vilinjska Gora' is a story that emphasizes the importance of resistance and rebellion in the process of gaining freedom, and at the same time sends the message that there is a hero inside each of us. We do not need to wait for a hero to come and free us, because if we gather enough courage and boldness to stand up to a tyrant or anyone who oppresses us, we will become our own heroes,” the description states.
The project was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, through the production of the Municipality of Kolašin and the post-production of the NGO Korifej Teatar.
