Although the local elections ended more than two months ago, and both the formal and the much more significant informal negotiations regarding the constitution of the new government are still ongoing, the old, still current administration of Milo Božović, represented by the Vice President of the Municipality, Jasna Dokić, continues with recruitment.
The fact that the cabinet of the first man of Budva, who has been in the Investigation Prison in Spuška for a year and a half, has not yet been formed, although a few days after the May elections a series of advertisements for the recruitment of Božović's advisers was published, is evidenced by the most recent advertisement that the Municipality published on August 5 .
Namely, as stated on the website of the Employment Service, an advertisement has been announced for the filling of a vacant position - independent consultant and - program manager in the Office of the President of the Municipality for an indefinite period.
On the same day, an advertisement was published to fill the vacant position of an independent clerk, that is, a business secretary in the Manager's Service for an indefinite period.
By the way, yesterday Marijana Božović was appointed as the manager of the city of Budva. The decision on her appointment, as confirmed by the News, was signed by the vice-president of the Municipality, Jasna Dokić.
In the previous parliamentary mandate, Božović was the head of the councilor club of the united Democratic Front (DF), and after the collapse of the coalition led by Milo Božović, she was part of the councilor club to which Nikola Jovanović belonged.
Three days earlier, on August 2, the Municipality published an advertisement to fill the position of business secretary in the Secretariat for Property Protection, also for an indefinite period.
With this, even after the election, the series of employment in the overbooked administration of the metropolis of tourism continued.
Two days ago, the Secretariat for Local Self-Government of the Municipality of Budva announced an internal advertisement for the recruitment of an independent adviser in the Secretariat for Urban Planning to lead administrative proceedings, as well as the recruitment of an adviser for urban planning and geodesy, also in the same municipal secretariat.
Only those who have already worked for an indefinite period of time in the municipal administration can respond to the internal advertisement. Previously, the Municipality published similar internal ads, but usually no one applies, so the Municipality publishes an ad on the website of the Employment Agency, where everyone has the right to apply. Until now, it was mostly the practice that the jobs were then given to those who worked on those jobs according to the contract, and who were employed in such a way by the city government along political lines.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 495 employees work in the Municipality of Budva
We would like to remind you that after an internal advertisement found no employees from the current employees of the Municipality of Budva who could be engaged in the Office of the President of the Municipality Milo Božović, the city administration advertised in mid-May for the employment of five advisers and a business secretary in the office of the detained first man of Budva .
Previously, an internal competition was announced in mid-April, to which no one applied.
Just seven days after the May elections, the Municipality of Budva advertised for the employment of two senior employees, i.e. security guards of property and persons in the Secretariat for Local Self-Government. On the same day, an advertisement for the employment of a road traffic inspector and the Municipal Inspection was announced for a five-year term.
363 workers for an indefinite period, claims the vice-president of the Municipality Jasna Dokić, work in the municipal administration
On the last day of May, an advertisement was announced to fill the cabinet of the President of the Municipality. The ad then sought to fill the position of independent adviser for the fight against corruption.
Until now, the news has repeatedly written about the publication of job advertisements in the already overburdened administration, because the Municipality building itself is practically insufficient in terms of space to accommodate all the workers who have been employed in the past eight years, since the fall of the DPS government, and especially in the last two years. mainly by party, godfather, friendship, family ties.
The Municipality almost always responded by noting that advertisements are published for filling positions which, as they claim, are systematized by the Rulebook on Internal Organization and Systematization of Jobs, and that each advertisement is published and implemented in accordance with the law.
Although the Ministry of Finance, in response to the parliamentary question of Nikola Milović (DPS), announced that 495 workers work in the Municipality, and that there are another thousand in municipal enterprises, services, institutions... the Vice President of the Municipality, Jasna Dokić, then reacted and asserted that there are 363 workers in the municipal administration indefinitely.
Unfortunately, employment has always been the model on which the government in Budva has managed to win over voters in the past three decades.
