The deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Aleksandra Vuković Kuč, announced that she will submit an initiative for the control hearing of the head of the security sector before the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense.
In parliament, during a parliamentary question to the Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy, Aleksa Bečić, she said that he and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Danilo Saranović, have a moral and political obligation to resign.
"J"Montenegro is losing the battle with organized crime, and citizens feel unprotected," said Vuković Kuč, stating that murders are taking place in Podgorica in the middle of the day.
She said that she and Šaranović will not hold a dialogue, and that it is DPS's protest against the refusal of Bečić and Šaranović to bear moral and political responsibility for the security anarchy in the country.
"We leave it to you to exchange praises with your party colleagues about the successful fight against corruption and organized crime, and today we will submit the initiative for the control hearing of the head of the security sector," she said.
Bečić said that the security sector destroyed in value for years and months, and that the people on the docks today are the people whom the DPS entrusted to lead that sector and directly or indirectly manage the prosecutorial or judicial branch of government.
"I could hardly list all the criminal offenses for which they are charged today... From drug smuggling, cigarette smuggling, criminal association, abuse of official position to participation in serious murders. So I did not see great patriots and protectors of the state come forward when the public became familiar with the monstrous celebrations of Grah's murders of members of another religion and another criminal clan," said Bečić.

He announced that they processed the addition of the agenda for Tuesday and Wednesday, and appealed to consider the proposal for amendments to the Criminal Procedure Law.
"Those which stipulate that a person can remain in detention for up to five years in the event of failure to issue first-instance verdicts".
The Vice President of the Assembly, Nikola Camaj, said that it is a big request to the authorities that something they inherited should be corrected, and that now they are paying for what was inherited.
"I expect and ask that maximum efforts be made to ensure peace, that citizens are safe and that through the new law we protect the people who swam in those waters. While they are in prison, at least they are alive," said Camaj.
Bečić pointed out that the Council for National Security, which met yesterday, detected that the key to the problem is inefficient court processes.
"We expect the support of the parliament. Last night we also considered a complete amendment of the CPC because the leaders of the judiciary informed us that an outdated legal solution dating back several decades does not provide effective mechanisms for court processes. The Minister of Justice reacted promptly. amendment of the entire CPC was sent to the EC...", he said and added that he expects it to be adopted by the end of the year.
Bečić announced that the systematization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), in which the chief special prosecutor participated, would be adopted in the coming days.
"For the first time, the minister first asked and accepted the suggestions of the chief special prosecutor in relation to some earlier experiences of the special prosecutor. The SPO gets an even stronger role, stronger capacities and a better position. That's why there is frenzy, hysteria and noise," said Bečić.
