Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and member of the Presidency of the Europe Now Movement, Filip Ivanović, told the residents of the Štitari village of Berana that he expects the road from that place to Skakavac to be reconstructed at the beginning of next year.
"I expect that the parliamentary group of the Movement Europe Now and the parliamentary majority will accept the proposed amendment to the Budget Law for 2025 and that the Skakavac - Štitari road will be reconstructed at the beginning of next year," Ivanović said.
As reported by the Europe Now Movement, Ivanović, speaking to the residents of the village of Štitari, emphasized that this is the best example of how the local community can benefit from good cooperation with the central authorities.
"That is why it is important that on December 8 the citizens of Beran support the list 'Berane first - Europe now - SNP', which is a guarantee that the voice of the people of Beran and Beranka will be heard in Podgorica, and that all the projects foreseen in the capital budget will be implemented." Ivanovic said.
Member of the Parliament of Montenegro and president of OO PES Berane Milan Zečević said that the residents of Štitar came before him with an initiative for the reconstruction of this road.
"Every day I am with my neighbors, fellow citizens. It is important for me to hear suggestions from them on how we can improve life in Berane. This amendment and the future reconstruction of 10 kilometers of this road are the result of our joint work," said Zečević.
