The leader of the Budva branch of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Milan Tičić, announced today that around 15 million euros were invested in the "Slovenska plaža" hotel in Budva last year, and that guest reviews on the platform "Open"" continue to indicate poor management, poor quality of service and inadequate maintenance.
"If the allegations about the SDT investigations and the SPO's seizure of documentation due to suspicious renovation work are true, then this is no longer just a matter of tourism - but of responsibility and transparency. The 'Budvanska Riviera' tourist resort should be a pillar of Montenegrin tourism, not an example of how huge amounts of money are spent without visible results for guests and the image of the destination. Tourism is not just painting rooms," Tičić wrote on the social network Iks.
"Vijesti" announced in June last year that with the largest investment of that year in Budva's tourism, the reconstruction of four blocks of the "Slovenska plaža" Tourist Resort, worth 14 million euros, the Hotel Group (HG) "Budvanska rivijera" managed to give all of its hotel capacities four or five stars.
