The constitutive session of the local parliament of Srebrenica was interrupted after the verification of the mandate of the newly elected councilors.
The parliamentary majority has not been formed, the president and vice president of the local assembly have not been elected, and the new session is scheduled for seven days.
The session was interrupted at the request of SDA councilor Hamdije Fejzić, who referred to the agreement that former mayor Camil Duraković had previously signed with the presidents of the federal parties that they would not enter into negotiations on the formation of a majority in the Assembly.
Otherwise, Bosniaks do not have the capacity to form the Assembly themselves. The coalition of SDA, SBB and SBiH has seven councilors, and SDP has two.
The working presidency of the Assembly was elected, headed by Hakija Meholjica from the SDP, as the oldest councilor.
The councilors were addressed by the mayor of that municipality, Mladen Grujičić, who called for cooperation and maximum work in order to restore mutual trust because, as he said, there is no more time to lose, regional N1 TV reported.
