According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CEC BiH), based on 88,89 percent of the counted votes, the Serbian candidate for the mayor of Srebrenica Mladen Grujičić won 3.957 votes and the current mayor of that municipality Ćamil Duraković 1.645, it was announced on the website of the CEC.
The municipal election commission should count the votes from three more regular polling stations.
There were 27 polling stations in Srebrenica, and votes from 24 polling stations have been counted so far.
It still remains to count the votes that have arrived from citizens who have the right to vote in Srebrenica and who vote by mail and who are absent, and there are about 3.300 of them in total.
Last night, the Municipal Election Commission of Srebrenica finished the session where it was supposed to decide on the request of the CEC of BiH, whether it will continue its work, but there were no statements to the media, so the public was deprived of that information.
