The court stated that Čolović's custody was extended, which can last until "the defendant is referred to the institution for the execution of criminal sanctions, but at the latest until the time of the sentence imposed in the verdict expires".
Čolović (57) was arrested on Friday in the vicinity of Belgrade, and the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade then announced that the person who was arrested in cooperation with the Security and Information Agency is suspected of espionage and has citizenship of both Serbia and Croatia.
The prosecution then stated that until 1990, Čolović lived and worked in Croatia, and that after that his place of residence was in Serbia.
