Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency and SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović said today, after a meeting with the SBB leaders, that the Prosecution of BiH has the right to do its job, but that the arrest of Fahrudin Radončić is a strong blow to the coalition, reforms and the economy.
"We are determined to preserve the coalition," Izetbegovoć pointed out and added that Radončić's contribution to politics is great and that is why it would be good if he defended himself from freedom.
"Everyone is innocent until the Court proves otherwise. I would not want this to be a pressure on the judiciary, but everyone is responsible for the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Izetbegović pointed out and added that the arrest of the SBB president was not in anyone's interest.
Radončić was arrested as part of the Lutka 2 operation for obstructing the judiciary, that is, pressure on witnesses in the case of the process being carried out in Kosovo against the Balkan drug dealer Naser Keljmendi.
The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina suggested to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina that Radončić be detained for 30 days.
