Dragan Barbarić, the lawyer of the arrested leader of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) Fahrudin Radončić, stated for today that the police structures do not have any evidence against Radončić and that the whole case has a political background. He confirmed that Radončić was interrogated by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (Sipa) and that he rejected all allegations against him, that is, accusations that he obstructed the work of the judiciary in the "Keljmenda case". "Radončić rejected all allegations regarding anything, influence on witnesses, influence on anyone... He said that the process was politically staged and that someone designed it solely for the purpose of politics," Barbarić told Dnevni Avaz. He added that everything is now in the hands of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he does not know whether detention for Radončić will be proposed at this time. Barbarić claims that "the truth in this case will be revealed very soon". "Everything is clear here. This was announced and carried out, prepared and planned", he stated, adding that "all those who thought that the arrest of Radončić would lead BiH into a crisis were mistaken". According to him, it is very easy to prove who is behind Radončić's arrest. "Now let everyone do their part. We will say some things, but everything in due time. When and if we come to the Court, then I will say a lot. But now I don't want to," added Radončić's lawyer.
Radončić was arrested yesterday by order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office on the charge of influencing witnesses in connection with the murder of Sarajevo criminal Ramiz Delalić Ćela, which, as previously reported by the media, was ordered by the drug lord Naser Keljmendi.
