The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said tonight that the Serbian state and the police can claim with certainty that Milan Radoičić did not kill the leader of the Civic Initiative of the SDP, Oliver Ivanović.
Vučić told RTS that Radoičić "did not participate in the organization, logistics, instigation" of the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
He added that Radoičić was questioned in Belgrade today and that it was established that he did not participate in the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
"He accepted and passed the polygraph examination," said Vučić.
"I don't want to talk about other things. Not only did he not kill him, but he did not participate in logistics, helping or anything else," said Vučić.
The President of Serbia added that Pristina wanted to kill Radoičić during the attempted arrest a few days ago.
"First, another man was blackmailed, a member of a drug clan who was arrested in Kosovo on a Montenegrin warrant and who was offered to accuse Radoičić so that they could wrap up the whole story and accuse Belgrade," said Vučić.
Vučić said that Ivanovic was killed at 8.14:8.16 a.m., and that the calls at 8.23:XNUMX a.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX a.m. were made to the emergency services and firefighters, and that there were no calls to Milan Radoičić.
He said that Radoičić "was always the first on the defensive line of North Mitrovica".
"Until a year ago, until he was killed by this campaign, he (Radoičić) was the number one man for the defense of Ksovo and Metohija in terms of those who would resist the Albanians," said Vučić.
Vučić said that the Kosovo Albanians wanted to destroy Belgrade's position in the negotiations in three strikes, to destroy the north of Kosovo.
"If they killed Radoičić two days ago, who would ever say that he didn't kill Oliver Ivanovic," Vučić asked.
He expressed doubts about the justification of the arrest of Ivanović's secretary and added that "only Radoičić got away from them in 10 minutes."
"We are conducting an investigation in impossible conditions... We have an almost completed story as a state, we are looking for some more evidence. I believe that the competent authorities will come out with concrete results," said Vučić.
