The basic court in Banja Luka today confirmed the indictment against the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska Dragan Lukač for causing minor bodily harm.
The indictment against Lukač was brought by the Banja Luka District Prosecutor's Office on June 12.
"On June 12, 2015, the District Prosecutor's Office of Banjaluka filed an indictment with a criminal order against Dragan Lukač from Banjaluka, for the criminal offense of 'light physical injury' from Article 155, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska. The indictment was forwarded to the Basic Court of Banjaluka for confirmation." it was announced a few days ago from the Banja Luka District Prosecutor's Office.
Lukač is accused of causing physical injuries to D. Spasojević in front of the building where he lives last August.
At that time, he was not the Minister of Internal Affairs of the RS.
In an open letter, which followed as a reaction to the indictment, Lukač said that at the time he was defending the children from a 20-year-old who attacked them, adding that he did not attack him.
