Rama canceled his visit to Macedonia after the attack

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama canceled his official visit to Macedonia, which was scheduled for May 14, Pristina media reports.

The Albanian Prime Minister was supposed to receive the title of honorary doctor during his visit to Tetovo at the state university there, the Pristina press reminds.

The cancellation of the visit comes after the events in Kumanovo, where clashes broke out between the Macedonian armed forces and Albanian terrorists last weekend. In a two-day operation by the Macedonian police, eight policemen were killed and 14 terrorists were killed, the authorities in Skopje announced.

The Pristina press also writes that the relations between Macedonia and Albania are at a critical point.
