The "National Geography" television network is interested in filming a show about the plane crash in which Macedonian President Boris Trajkovski died in 2004 near Mostar, which is why the members of the commission that investigated the cause of the crash of the government "king-air" at the request of the Macedonian government have already been contacted.
According to the media in Skopje, this information was confirmed by the president of the Commission for the investigation of the cause of the accident, Omer Kulić, who, after a two-year investigation, submitted the latest report to the Macedonian Ministry of Transport and Communications at the end of 2014.
"National Geography", as reported by the media, plans to reconstruct the flight and crash of the plane in which the then Macedonian president was killed, as part of a show that investigates plane accidents.
Boris Trajkovski, the second president of Macedonia since its independence, died on February 26, 2004, when the government plane he was traveling on for an international conference crashed near the village of Husovići, not far from Mostar.
According to the latest report of the Macedonian commission for investigating the cause of the accident, the government plane "King-er" crashed "due to seven system errors made by the pilots".
The Macedonian government plane was found 25 hours after the crash. The accident report confirmed that all eight passengers and crew members died on the spot, and the possibility of a terrorist attack was ruled out because no traces of explosives were found on the plane.
