Polls show, after the TV duel between candidates for the president of Croatia Ivo Josipović (SDP) and Kolinda Grabar Kitarović (HDZ), that a dead race follows on Sunday.
The TV duel was held on the eve of the second round of the Croatian presidential election and, according to Croatian media, over 800 citizens watched it.
The survey conducted for RTL by the agency Promocija Plus on a sample of citizens in all Croatian counties, as stated, confirms that these are the most uncertain elections in the history of Croatia and that the citizens are divided between two candidates.
Josipović and Grabarova were rated as "solid threes", with Josipović slightly better and getting 3,11 compared to Grabarova who was rated 3,07.
RTL writes that the HDZ candidate received more fives than the current president, who received the same number of threes, more very good ones, but also significantly more twos.
When it comes to the citizens' impression of the candidates in the duel, there is also a dead race. The performance of Ivo Josipović was considered positive by 51 percent of the surveyed citizens, while 50 percent opted for Kolinda Grabar Kitarović.
According to the same survey, Josipović left a bad impression on 30,3 percent of citizens, while the performance of his challenger was negatively evaluated by slightly fewer citizens - 28,3 percent of them, writes the RTL portal.
By the way, late last night, Grabarova published a photo on her Facebook profile with General Anto Gotovina, his wife Dunja and friends, including the head of Pakoštan, Milivoj Kurtov.

Grabarova wrote next to the photo: "On the way to Zadar, I stopped by my friends Dunje and Ante... Thank you for their hospitality," Zagreb's Jutarnji list reported.
When asked if this means that she has Gotovina's support in the presidential elections, she replied that it was a question for him, but that they were friends and that is why she visited him with her associates.
The paper reminds that General Gotovina stated in mid-December that he will not support any candidate for Pantovčak, and that the citizens are here to choose for themselves.
