Today in Skopje, another injured person died in a serious traffic accident on the Skopje-Tetovo highway, bringing the number of victims to 15.
As announced by the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia, it is a 39-year-old man who suffered serious chest and lung injuries in the accident.
He was first brought to the City General Hospital "8. Septembar", where the largest number of injured are hospitalized, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the Clinic for Anaesthesia, Reanimation and Intensive Care (KARIL).
"The injured man was operated on twice the same evening when he was brought to KARIL due to profuse bleeding in his lungs. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his injuries, he died this morning," the ministry said.
A serious traffic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon when the "Durmo Tours" bus, full of passengers on the Skopje-Tetovo road, ran off the road near the village of Laskarci and overturned.
