Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić stated today that the Government of Serbia does not yet have an official position on Kosovo and Metohija and added that it will have one as soon as it has a concrete proposal on the table.
"We do not have an official position of the Government of Serbia, we will have it as soon as we have a concrete proposal on the table," Brnabić told reporters in Tršić.
She pointed out that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is doing everything to find a solution and assessed that the "frozen conflict" should not be left to future generations. "I don't think that the solution is close, but the president is trying to look at the problem from all angles in order to find something that can bring to Serbia what it doesn't have, that is, that we lose as little as possible and gain as much as possible," said the Prime Minister.
She added that it depends not only on Vučić and the support of the Government of Serbia, but also on how willing people in Pristina are to openly discuss a compromise.
