As stated in the press release from the Presidency, Bosnia and Herzegovina "is in probably the most difficult political crisis after the end of the war", and the American ambassador pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to enjoy the support of the USA, primarily regarding joining NATO and obtaining candidate status for the European Union. union.
"There are a lot of open issues that must be resolved, because the citizens' disillusionment with the political structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina is obvious," said Moon. He added that during his mandate he tried to combine the interests of his country and the expectations of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He announced the continuation of the implementation of a policy that will respect everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated.
Komšić expressed concern about the current situation in BiH and the halting of processes related to NATO and the EU.
"It is high time for these processes to be unblocked and for those responsible to start doing their job," said Komšić.
In the last three years, all reforms related to membership in the European Union and NATO have been at a complete standstill, and the parties of the parliamentary majority cannot agree on numerous issues.
The ministers of foreign affairs of the 28 EU member states accepted today the conclusions on BiH in which they express concern about the country's lack of progress on the road to the European Union, calling on the authorities to implement the necessary constitutional reforms, in accordance with the judgment of the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
