Dodik: BiH will never recognize Kosovo

Bosnia and Herzegovina will not recognize the independence of Kosovo, because the Republika Srpska will not allow that issue to be discussed at all, said the president of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik.

In an interview with Blic, Dodik said that Kosovo is the source of long-term instability in the Balkans, and that it represents an illegal and illegitimate state.

According to him, Kosovo was recognized by the great powers "in order to punish and humiliate the Serbian people once again."

Dodik points out that there is pressure from Sarajevo for Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize Kosovo, but that this will not happen because the RS is an unavoidable factor in the decision.
