The Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, said today that the suspect for bringing weapons into the "Borik" hall in Banja Luka, Boško Stanišljević, and former BiH security guard Ljuban Ećim know each other, but that the nature of their relationship needs to be established.

"Blic" announced in the printed edition today that Stanišljević was connected with Ećim, a former security guard of BiH and a person from the Bosnian underground, who has excellent business ties with Luka Bojović, the head of the Belgrade criminal scene.

"What exists as information is that the detainees and Ljuban Ećim know each other. That is just one fact that needs to be investigated, what kind of relationship that is and whether it has anything to do with this event," said Dacic.

He said that it is too early to talk about the allegations of certain media about Stanisljević's connection with Ećim, who is connected to Bojović.

The President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik said yesterday that he feels completely safe even after the discovery of weapons in the "Borik" hall in Banja Luka, the day before the ceremonial academy on the occasion of the celebration of the RS jubilee.

He added that the police did their part professionally, and that the competent prosecutor's offices should conduct further investigations.

Even when in 2003 the hall was thoroughly "combed" by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad, when the Maccabi basketball club was visiting "Borik", no weapons were found.
