The Vice President of the Kosovo Government, Edita Tahiri, said today in Ljubljana that Kosovo "plays a positive role" in the dialogue with Serbia. Tahiri, who leads the Pristina team in the talks with Belgrade, emphasized at the press conference that the goal of those talks is to find solutions to practical issues. which would enable people to have a better life. As she stated, the dialogue is also an opportunity to change the current relations between the two countries, which may one day lead to the Serbian recognition of the independence of Kosovo. According to her, the dialogue in which Kosovo plays a positive role will also help bring the two countries closer together the country's Euro-Atlantic integration, and sees the liberalization of the visa regime for Kosovo as the first step in this. Tahiri announced that the barricades in the north of Kosovo will be removed in a "soft and moderate way in coordination with international factors."
