The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said today that no one knows what the talks between Belgrade and Pristina will look like in the future, but that there will certainly be some.
"The question arises whether we will talk after this, we will talk, and how, no one knows how. How should I look at (Kosovo President Hashim) Thaci and those who ordered the beating of Marko Đurić", said Vučić and added that international officials said to "let some time pass, then we will see".
He said that there is a question of trust between Belgrade and Pristina and added that he knows that the arrest of Đurić was ordered by Thaci and Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramuš Haradinaj.
"We will keep the peace, and what we will do next, I don't even know what to tell you," said Vučić.
He said that, essentially, Pristina officials do not want the Union of Serbian Municipalities, that they want it to be in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Kosovo, which would reduce the ZSO to the level of a non-governmental organization.
"It should be an NGO whose members will be able to chew gum when Tači and Haradinaj allow them," said Vučić.
He said that since this morning he has been criticized for talking to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and that his answer is that he will talk to everyone, as well as that today he will talk to the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"My job is to protect Serbia and I don't care where anyone comes from," said Vučić.
