Tonight, the participants of the One in Five Million protest symbolically painted the entrance door of the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) in "pink" color again, despite the criminal charges filed because of it, and the representatives of the Alliance for Serbia Dragan Đilas, Marko Bastać and Nebojsa Zelenović.
One of the organizers of the protest who was interrogated by the police for painting the doors of RTS, Srđan Marković, told the general director of the public service, Dragan Bujošević, that he was in the service of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and Aleksandar Vučić, because he filed criminal charges against the students.
Marković said that Bujošević was once a role model for many, known for the phrase "it's not Serbian to be silent", but that is no longer the case and asked him: "Why did you paint your past in pink", while the crowd chanted "RTS is SNS".
The participants of the protest march previously performed a mini-performance near the Serbian Presidency building.
Addressing the citizens, Marković said that the president of the country should be there, but that instead "the dark side of Serbia lives there".
As an illustration of that dark side, one of the students played a melody from the movie "Star Wars" called "Imperial March" on the violin.
The protest gathering began as usual, on the Plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, where the representative of students from the One in Five Million association, Moma Kovačević, reminded of these criminal charges.
"According to the 'Serbian advanced reality', we are criminals because we are fighting for our right to know everything," Kovačević said.
He added that "SNS reality" has no points of contact with reality, and that because of such "reality" the actor Branislav Trifunović was exposed to a media lynching because he allegedly tore up the Serbian flag.
Kovačević said that "Serbian advanced reality and reality are so different that they cannot meet".
"That's why we are boycotting their lies, their reality and their elections," Kovačević said, after which the crowd started a protest walk.
