At the One of Five Millions protest in Belgrade, a letter of support to the whistleblower Aleksandar Obradović from the Krusik special industry factory was read tonight, which will be handed over to him with the signatures of those gathered and the message "Solidarity is our strength".
Student Aleksandra Reković from the protest organization read a letter in which it was stated that heroes are born in dark times, and these are ordinary people and neighbors.
They do not put up with injustice and humiliation. Obradović acted honorably in the fight against the state mafia, added the letter read by Reković.
She reminded that Obradović is under house arrest, where a letter signed by the citizens gathered at the protest will be taken to him as a sign of support, and as she added, he will be free.
Former policeman Milan Dumanović, who was indicted for revealing an official secret about his employment during the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to Potočari, said that he was charged because he told the truth and that the trial was closed to the public so that the alleged secret would not be heard.
"My motive for doing so is because he wants me to be a policeman, not to live on my knees," Dumanović said, explaining why he spoke about what happened in Potočari, where he added that he was illegally sent.
He recalled that the criminal complaint he filed against his superiors, including State Secretary Dijana Hrkalović, was dismissed.
Dumanović apologized to the citizens that, as he said, the hooligans have official identification cards again, and reminded them of the Savamal case when "the rule of law was suspended."
He also called on other citizens who have information about criminal acts to come forward and be whistleblowers.
"It's much easier now, we have these young people from the One in Five Million organization with us. Citizens, stand up and be proud again," said Dumanović.
One of the organizers of the protest, Srđan Marković, said that he will wait for the decision of the Rector's Office on the doctorate of Finance Minister Siniša Malog.
Commenting on the position of the ethics committee of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade that the paper was not plagiarized, he said that they once again showed cowardice.
Some of the participants of the protest brought surgical masks, as a symbolic message against the pollution of Belgrade, and they also reminded that citizens cannot walk freely because the streets have been dug up for months.
After the speaker's address on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy, the gathered started a protest walk to the RTS building.
