The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, Dragan Lukač, hit the NARS MP Draško Stanivuković after an argument over NATO flags in the Assembly hall.
During a speech in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, where a special session related to the BiH Reform Program is being held, Lukač addressed Stanivuković, who brought small NATO flags into the Assembly hall with several other opposition members, reports Klix.ba.
The flags are a sign of protest because Stanivuković believes that by signing the Reform Program that was sent to NATO headquarters, Dodik canceled the "military neutrality of the RS".
"While I was fighting, NATO planes were flying over my head. I thought if their bomb would fall on my head. You were small then, but you should know some things now. Don't bring it to the Assembly anymore, otherwise you'll end up as flags," said Lukacs.
After that, Stanivuković approached Lukač with the intention of getting an explanation of how it would end.
Lukač threw papers in the direction of Stanivuković, called him a monkey and then hit him.
The session was adjourned after this incident.
