At the protest of Serbs in Gračanica on January 9, which was organized as a sign of opposition to the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion in Montenegro, three citizens of the Russian Federation were present, one of whom is a member of the Russian GRU military service, Kosovo Radio Television reported today ( RTK).
According to the Pristina media, a member of the Russian GRU secret service entered Kosovo illegally from Montenegro and possesses a forged document as an UNMIK official, which gives him diplomatic immunity.
The other two people have been staying in Kosovo since December, the media reported, citing sources from Kosovo's security institutions.
As they state, on January 8 and 9, in the Gračanica monastery, together with two other Russians and a Serbian translator, this person met with the Serbian clergy.
Kosovo media report that they are also planning a so-called campaign for "the protection of the Orthodox pillar in Prizren and increasing activities" in that city.
The movements of members of the GRU are monitored in Montenegro, and security institutions in Kosovo have information about their movements and activities in Kosovo, Pristina media reports.
