The situation in the region is "undoubtedly unstable", which suits Serbia the least, said Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić and pointed out that the president of that country, Aleksandar Vučić, reacted promptly, writes B92.
As Brnabić said, he will talk in Belgrade on Saturday with Serbs from Montenegro and Republika Srpska about how he can help them.
Brnabić said that Vučić invited Serbs from Montenegro and Republika Srpska to come to Belgrade and talk about it and that the state of Serbia will try to continue calling for peace and stability.
"Vučić will talk with them on Saturday about the best way to help and support them, but also how we can continue to try to calm the situation in the region, this is the least suitable for us," Brnabić said, answering a journalist's question about how she sees the situation. in Montenegro and BiH and the rise of tensions in the region.
She said she would not attend the meeting on Saturday as she would be traveling to a security forum in Munich.
"We will try again to call for peace and stability, but without jeopardizing the rights of Serbs anywhere in the region, which, you must admit, are at risk at this moment. What is happening should not be happening," said Brnabić.
She said that "we should solve these problems diplomatically, in a careful way."
Kaže has repeatedly said that what is happening in the region is the least suitable for Serbia, because the country has gone through difficult reforms and achieved economic growth of 4,4 percent and 4,2 percent in the previous two years.
"We see a completely different image of Serbia, and in order to continue growing like this, we need a stable region," said Brnabić, pointing out that this is a small region where any instability affects our country.
Then fewer people want to invest, and President Vučić has been working for years to raise the credibility of our country, said the Prime Minister.
"Any instability in the region can threaten our rapid development. That's why both the president and I try to make sure that all the signals we give are measured and moderate and that we continue to build stability, not instability. We try to be responsible and protect our people wherever It's our constitutional obligation and duty, and I think we're doing it in the best way," said Brnabić
She added that this is why Vučić will talk to the Serbs from Montenegro and Republika Srpska in order to see how he can support them and how we can try to calm the situation in the region.
"When you don't do enough in the area of reforms, it's easiest to have instability and say it's because of the political situation. On the other hand, Serbia is an exporter of stability, not because we have a big heart, and we do, but because it's in the interest of our citizens," emphasized the Prime Minister of Serbia.
