The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, expressed her great satisfaction with the start of the campaign to donate blood plasma for the treatment of the coronavirus, reports B92.
"Today we entered the seventh week of the struggle and it seems to me that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel and that if we maintain our discipline, Serbia will be able to declare victory," said the Prime Minister.
She said that officially in Serbia, there are 534 people cured of the coronavirus.
"Our profession, our researchers are working on the research of another therapy. Our experts from the USA are helping us, so our diaspora," said Brnabić.
She asked everyone who has been cured to come forward and enter the plasma donation process.
"You who come forward have the opportunity to save someone's life," said the Prime Minister.
After that, the director of the Republic Health Insurance Fund, Sanja Radojević Škodrić, spoke
"We managed to acquire all the necessary equipment, the protocol was completed," said Radojević Škodrić
She particularly emphasized the support of the President and Prime Minister of Serbia.
"The first potential donor was admitted to the first donation center on April 11, and now the second center is ready in KC Vojvodina," said the director of RFZO.
