A group of famous people from Bosnia and Herzegovina broke all the prohibition measures in the coronavirus epidemic with a big party in a Sarajevo restaurant where, along with the state minister, there were also famous pop stars like Halid Bešlić, reports Index.hr.
Sarajevo Canton Interior Minister Ismir Jusko confirmed that the police intervened on Monday night based on a tip that a dissolute party was taking place in the "Golf Club" restaurant, although the operation of all catering facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited.
It turned out that this party was organized as a celebration of the birthday of surgeon Jusuf Šabanović, head of the Clinic for Abdominal Surgery of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS).
Šabanović was dismissed by the director of KCUS Sebija Izetbegović was dismissed after the appearance of a video clip on the Internet.
State Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac from the SNSD party also came to the celebration. The president of this party and a member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, announced the dismissal of Košarc and added that he had finished his political career.
Nihad Fejzić, a professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who is also a member of the Scientific Body for Monitoring the Corona Virus Epidemic in Sarajevo Canton, also attended the party.
They were accompanied by entertainers Halid Bešlić, Semir Cerić Koke, Hajrudin Varešanović (Hari Mata Hari), Slađana Mandić and Šerif Konjević.
