In the past 24 hours, a patient who was confirmed to have the new coronavirus died at the University Clinical Center (UCC) in Banja Luka.
This is a 64-year-old woman from Banjaluka, who had several combined chronic diseases, the UKC announced.
The number of victims of the coronavirus in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased to a total of 130, of which 92 people have died and the presence of the virus has been confirmed, and 38 people have died in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The number of people suffering from the corona virus in Bosnia and Herzegovina has increased to 2.285, after 22 more people were registered positive for the coronavirus in the Republic of Srpska.
So far, 1.266 cases of the corona virus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and 1.019 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the last 24 hours, 522 laboratory samples were tested in the Republic of Srpska, and the new corona virus was confirmed in another 22 people, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Srpska announced.
In the last 24 hours, no new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said the director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, Sebija Izetbegović.
She stated that 638 samples were tested, and none of them tested positive for covid-19.
In the Republic of Srpska, the most new cases of coronavirus were registered in Banja Luka, seven cases, four newly infected persons are from Laktaš, two persons each from Gradiška and Gack, and one person each from Kneževo, Čelinac, Kotor Varoš, Prnjavor, Mrkonjić Grada, Modriča and Teslić.
Among those positive for the coronavirus is a nurse from UKC Banjaluk, as well as an employee of a preschool institution in Modriča.
