In the past 24 hours, four new cases of coronavirus infection and one death were confirmed in Croatia at the Split Clinical Hospital Center, the National Civil Protection Headquarters of that country announced.
As reported by Tanjug, all newly infected are from the area of Slavonski Brod, three are contacts of already infected persons, and the fourth is a returnee from Germany.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 2.232 infected people have been registered in Croatia.
A total of 55,8 people were tested, and 24 of them in the past 980 hours alone.
The total number of recovered patients is 1.967.
So far, 96 people have died in Croatia as a result of the coronavirus.
