Although the EXIT festival recently announced that it will not be held this year in its standard format and schedule, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić yesterday asked the organizers not to cancel the festival, but that the recommendation of the Crisis Staff is to postpone the festival to August, taking into account the drastic improvement in the health situation in Serbia, but also the entire region and most European countries, the organizers announced.
"We made a recommendation to move EXIT to August because we expect that then there will be a completely peaceful situation in the whole of Europe," the Prime Minister of Serbia told reporters, adding that the recommendation is to move the festival, not cancel it.
The EXIT team welcomed the possibility of holding not only the EXIT festival in August, but also other events in Serbia, and that the epidemiologist's recommendation is good news for everyone, especially for the most affected sectors of tourism and events.
The EXIT team notes that they are also ready to change the format of the festival: "If necessary, we are ready to drastically reduce the capacity of the festival, as well as limit the number of visitors to the domestic and regional audience," the organizers said and appealed to organize a meeting where define all details and answer open questions.
