Dodik: The fact that he reported everything to the BiH Prosecutor's Office shows how much Serb Borenović is

Serbian member of the BiH Presidency and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik apologized to everyone who understood that he was serious about wiretapping the opposition.

"We are not that crazy to do it like that. The opposition obviously liked my performance. How much Branislav Borenović is a Serb is shown by the fact that he reported everything to the BiH Prosecutor's Office. No problem, I will respond," said Dodik, regional television N1 reported.

He said that he has no problem giving a statement in this regard if he is called by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, adding that the opposition MPs "obviously liked his performance, and are now filing a report".

"However, one thing is evident from that, and that is how much of a Serb Branislav Borenović is, so he submits the report to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and not to the Republic of Srpska, because he trusts institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Dodik said.

At the session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska on May 20, the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated from the podium that the MUP of the RS is listening in on the telephone conversations of opposition representatives.

Then he recounted the content of the telephone conversations of members of the opposition.

He also stated that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukač, was delivering all this to him, and he asked him to confirm his allegations.

Dodik said that he will not unconditionally support any candidate of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) for security minister, adding that the time has come to unblock the appointment of the director of the Investigation and Protection Agency (Sipa), who should be a Serb.

He assessed that the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) is "an artificial body, which should have disappeared a long time ago, because it was invented within the framework of the Dayton Agreement to spread fear and govern BiH".

"It gathers a certain number of countries, but what it does is only to cover the illegal international crime of high representatives, who did it in violation of the international agreement and the Dayton Constitution," said Dodik.
