The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIJZ) announced that five new cases of coronavirus were confirmed today, while three people were cured.
According to the announcement, positive cases are cases of contacts of previously infected two cases in the municipality of Kosovo Polje and one case each in the municipalities of Prishtina, Prizren and Vučitrn, so the total number of infected people so far is 1.147, while 847 people have recovered.
30 people died, while the number of currently infected patients is 273.
From February 8 to today, 15.880 people suspected of having the SARS-CoV-2 virus were tested in the NIJZ laboratory.
Otherwise, NIJZ contacts and monitors all contacts in cases of infected people 24 hours a day and obliges them to self-isolate and seek medical help if they have symptoms of Kovid-19.
