Pavlović: Institutions in Serbia remain silent on evidence of connections between the top of the state and criminal circles

KRIK journalist Bojana Pavlović, who is an unknown man confiscated the phone after she took a photo of Danilo Vučić, the son of the President of Serbia, watching the Partizan-Crvena zvezda match broadcast in a pub in the company of one of the leaders of Partizan's fan group "Janjičari" Aleksandar Vidojević, she stated today that "there are no concrete answers from the competent institutions" to such events.

Pavlović said in the morning program Nova S that the institutions in Serbia "remain silent on all the evidence of the connection between the top of the state and criminal circles", considering that Vidojević was arrested for violent behavior, and some media reports that he is connected in the police database with the Montenegrin blacksmith clan.

Pavlović said that this type of meeting is repeated and that this is "the fourth time that KRIK journalists have recorded such events, which testify that the son of the president of the country moves in criminal circles and that it cannot be a matter of coincidence."

"There was talk about how these people accidentally approached the president's son, met and took photos, but this is already the fourth time, it cannot be a coincidence," said Pavlović.

She said that "the prosecutor's office and the police remain silent on these contacts and connections", which, as she stated, "testifies to the connection of the top of the state with criminal clans, because the competent institutions themselves listed Vidojević as a member of the kava clan".

Pavlović believes that such connections create "blackmail potential" for criminal circles.

Regarding the comment that KRIK journalists draw a target on the head of the son of the president of the country, Pavlović asked how the journalists draw the target, and not the criminal circles that are in the immediate vicinity.

The KRIK journalist said that she and her colleagues feel unsafe and unprotected, and reminded her that the apartments of two journalists from that newsroom were raided, but that these cases have not yet been resolved.

Pavlović also said that due to the pressures, it is increasingly difficult for KRIK journalists to get to interviewees and information, because people are afraid that they will lose their jobs or that they and their families will be in security danger, the Nova S portal reported.
