The director of the Office of the Government of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, was hospitalized today with mild symptoms of the coronavirus.
The office announced that Đurić had previously tested positive for the coronavirus and was receiving the prescribed medical treatments.
Đurić is one of several high-ranking Serbian officials who have tested positive for the coronavirus.
The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Maja Gojković, was admitted to the Kovid Hospital on Bežanijska Kosa in Belgrade with pneumonia.
The media reports that in the meantime she received a positive test result for the coronavirus.
The President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Čadež, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Veljko Odalović, are also infected with the corona virus.
