Representatives of several non-governmental organizations in Serbia visited the Health Center in Tutin and Sjenica and donated equipment to help in the fight against the corona virus, since the humanitarian campaign collected around 15.300 euros (1,8 million dinars) for that purpose.
Surgical gloves, masks, medicines, disinfectants, protective caps and coats, as well as infusion systems, oxygen masks, pulse oximeters, thermometers, and wheelchairs were donated to both institutions.
The representative of the organization POTENT Marko Oljača, who led the humanitarian convoy with representatives of other non-governmental organizations, said that they saw on the spot that the situation in both cities is alarming, and that the population and health workers are worried about the increasing number of infected people, the lack of tests and professional medical staff.
Tutin needs new quantities of protective equipment and disinfectants, devices and oxygen bottles, pillows and bedding for children and adults, wheelchairs.
As the activists in the Tutin Health Center announced, according to the information of the health personnel on the spot, about 100 people a day come for examination, and they are examined through the window of one of the clinics.
"In this institution, an infectious disease specialist is infected, and they don't have a pulmonologist, an anesthesiologist, an internist, and they are not able to build a covid hospital because in the plan of the network of health institutions, they are run as a health center with inpatients," said Oljača.
According to Marko Oljača, the situation in Sjenica is even more dramatic "because of the 230 employees in this health center, more than 30 are infected, they do not have a record of the number of infected people in the city, and 90-120 people come for examination every day".
Of the 270 radiological findings, more than 70 percent of the patients have pneumonia, so they are referred to the hospital in Užice, said Oljača and added that the Sjenica health center also lacks radiologists, infectious disease specialists, internists, and anesthesiologists.
"They have one x-ray machine that is more than 35 years old, and defibrillators with monitors, nasal probes, oxygen machines and oxygen bottles, additional protective and disinfectants are also missing.

"In 10 days, 114 people died in N. Pazar and Tutin"
In a guest appearance on Sandžak TV, the president of Mešihat IZ in Serbia, Mufti Mevlud Dudić, said that based on the records of the Majlis on the funerals performed in the period from 20 to On June 30 of this year, 65 people died in Novi Pazar, while 49 died in Tutin.
Dudić added that the number of deaths is significantly higher compared to the period before the corona virus pandemic.
The Mosque of the Islamic Community in Serbia announced that the families of those who died from Kovid-19 are exempted from funeral expenses, due to the difficult situation caused by the coronavirus and, as they said, "the increase in the number of deaths and the lack of attention from the competent state authorities to implement the offered assistance to Sandžak from Bosnia ".

The "Hilal" humanitarian fund from Bijelo Polje organizes an action to collect aid for Tutin and Novi Pazar.
They delivered aid to the Rožaj hospital yesterday, and they are announcing the delivery of aid to Tutin and Novi Pazar in the coming days.
"The bright spot is the humane people, especially the diaspora this time, who expressed an interest in helping the most threatened cities of our region, Rožaj, Tutin and Novi Pazar," states the announcement on the official website of the humanitarian organization Hilal.
