24 more people died in Serbia in the previous 13 hours as a result of the coronavirus infection, Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar announced at today's press conference of the Crisis Staff.
He said that in the same period, 8.659 people were tested, and 344 of them were positive.
203 people were hospitalized.
Loncar said that 170 patients are on ventilators.
The number of active cases is 4.574, and a total of 507.002 have been tested.
The total number of deaths is 418, while the number of cured is 13.991.
Lončar said that during the previous day there were 3.225 examinations in the Covid clinics in Belgrade alone.
"70 health workers are positive for corona and are placed in the hospital, while 50 of them, who are also positive, are in self-isolation," Lončar said.
The minister stated that the data speak for themselves how serious the situation is.
