In the previous 24 hours, 10 more people died as a result of the coronavirus infection in Serbia, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic to 482.
As Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar said at the press conference, 8.349 people were tested during that period, of which 359 people tested positive.
4.772 patients were hospitalized, of which 190 are on ventilators.
The minister said that there are currently 6.623 active cases in Serbia, and that 550 medical doctors are infected, of which 50 are receiving hospital treatment.
He added that since the beginning of the epidemic in Serbia, 558.440 people have been tested, and that 14.148 people have been cured to date.
Of the total number of deceased, men make up about 64 and women slightly more than 35 percent.
When it comes to the age groups of the deceased, there were 20 percent of those between the ages of 29 and 0,72, 40 percent between the ages of 49 and 8,6, 60 percent between the ages of 69 and 28,67, and 70 up to 79 percent, 27,96 percent, and among those over 80 years old, 18,64 percent died.
