Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said that the president of Serbia and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vučić is seriously considering entering into a coalition with the leader of the Serbian Patriotic Association (SPAS) Aleksandar Šapić and stated that she is one of the two candidates for the prime ministership of the new government.

Brnbić, guest in the morning program of Pink television, said that Vučić was very disappointed in some people close to him and that it was hard for him to bear the support that their coalition partners from the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) gave to the opposition protests in Belgrade.

She stated that Vučić thinks that Šapić lacks a lot, that he still has to study and work, but that what she appreciates about him is his fighting spirit.

"Aleksandar Šapić has shown that he wants to and knows how to fight, and he showed that in moments when our coalition partners, primarily SPS, did not fight like that, and some from SNS", she stated.

She did not want to reveal who the other candidate for prime minister was.

"The other candidate is a candidate from our party who I would stand behind at any time," said Brnabić.

She said that Vučić asked them to declare four options regarding the future partnership.

The first is for the SNS to be in a coalition with the SPS, the second for them to be in a coalition with Šapić's SPAS, the third for them to enter into a partnership with both the SPS and the SPAS, and the last option - for the SNS to be alone with the support of the minorities.

"I voted for SNS to form a government with minorities. I really think that would be the best possible option for Serbia," said Brnabić.
