Belgrade broke an infamous record, almost 5.600 views were recorded in the last 24 hours, said Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar, reports nova.rs.

He stated that 1.100 healthcare workers have tested positive for the coronavirus, and that 52 of them are receiving hospital treatment.

The head of the Infectious Disease Clinic of the Clinical Center of Serbia, Goran Stevanović, said that the health institution had more than 24 examinations in the last 350 hours.

"These are mostly serious patients, the situation is extremely difficult and uncertain," he said.
