The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, said today that she hopes that the first vaccines against the coronavirus will be in that country before the end of December, stating that the country is doing its best to fulfill this.
"I hope that it will be as we promised, that Serbia will be among the first countries to have a vaccine and that we will have the first vaccines in the country by the end of December," Brnabić told RTS.
She reminded that the first Sputnik V vaccines arrived in Serbia yesterday, 20 doses for checking and testing, reports Tanjug.
She also stated that a preliminary contract was signed with Pfizer, that the contract with Pfizer was adopted yesterday at the session of the Government of Serbia, which, as she stated, should be signed on Monday at the latest.
She added that negotiations are also underway with Chinese partners and that a letter of intent has been signed.
"We will try our best," said Brnabić.
