The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, congratulated the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapić, on his election and expressed her belief that relations and cooperation between the two countries will be successfully developed.
"I am deeply convinced that relations and cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro will be successfully developed in all areas of common interest, with the aim of the overall prosperity of our two countries, the development and stability of the region, good neighborly relations and a common European future," Brnabić stated in her congratulatory message.
She sent Krivokapić "sincere wishes for the good health" of the citizens of Montenegro and for the speedy recovery of all those infected with the coronavirus, it was announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
"With sincere wishes for the improvement of mutual cooperation, please accept the expressions of my special appreciation", added Brnabić.
On Monday, Krivokapić officially took over the post of Prime Minister from the former Prime Minister, Duško Marković. The new government, which has 14 members, eight less than the previous one, was elected by the Parliament of Montenegro on Friday.
