The President of United Serbia, Dragan Marković Palma, presented a hat to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, as there were questions on social media about why Vučić does not wear a hat even when it is snowing.
At the meeting of the Collegium of the Serbian Parliament, where he handed the cap to the head of SNS deputies, Aleksandar Martinović, Marković said: "I am asking Vučić to put a cap on his head when it snows. The cap is by the way Lakost. And why the branded cap? Because only the best in the world wear it such as Novak Djokovic, and Vucic is a brand for those who attack him".
"This cap is a symbol that opposition members in Serbia, of all the attacks on President Vučić, are only right that he did not have a cap on Zlatibor when the gondola was put into operation," the Assembly of Jagodina, of which Marković is president, reported in a statement.
He assessed that Vučić's departure to Zlatibor, on the territory of the municipality managed by the opposition Zdrava Srbija, "is an indicator that he is always in favor of everything that is done well for Serbia, so let him be called the most stubborn oppositionist".
Speaking to the opposition, Marković said that "everything else they criticized - from the fact that he betrayed Kosovo, to the country's fight against the pandemic, to saving the economy when the entire world economy is collapsing, to the fact that there is no democracy in Serbia, all the way to the arrangement of Belgrade, especially when it comes to 'Belgrade on the water', none of these criticisms are true".
