The Minister of Health of Serbia, Zlatibor Lončar, received the Chinese vaccine today at the Belgrade Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Serums "Torlak".
The minister said that as many citizens as possible should be vaccinated and that "everything that the state can do in the fight against the coronavirus" has been done.
Vaccination is "the only way to return to a more or less normal life, that is our goal," Loncar said, Radio-Television of Serbia reported.
He said that the Medicines Agency has reviewed and approved all three vaccines that are now in use in Serbia and told the citizens that they have no reason to doubt.
Vojvodina's provincial secretary for health, Zoran Gojković, was also vaccinated today.
RTS announced that the largest vaccination point will start working in Hall 11 of the Belgrade Fair.
