In Serbia, 84.075 citizens have been vaccinated against the coronavirus until tonight.
The Minister of Health of Serbia, Zlatibor Lončar, visiting RTS, said that he was satisfied with the response of the citizens and the way the immunization system works.
"We are continuing the vaccination in the coming days. The numbers give hope and faith that the citizens have chosen a good path, that through prevention and vaccine, we will return the hospitals to a regular system of work as soon as possible, so that there are as few infected people as possible in the hospitals and among us," said Lončar.
The Ministry of Health of Serbia stated that more than 400.000 citizens applied for vaccination through the eGovernment portal and call centers.
"The data is changing minute by minute. Already tomorrow we will increase the number of operators in the call centers because we are still playing on the fly," Lončar said in response to the question that some citizens complained that they had to wait a long time to apply for vaccination by phone.
